The Influence Of Ayo Haji Muda BPKH Campaign On Motivation And Interest Of Parents To Register Their Children In Hajj Portion (Case Study In Fixed Income Communities In Jabodetabek)



"This study explores the influence of the ""Ayo Haji Muda"" campaign conducted by the Government through the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) on the motivation and interest of fixed-income parents living in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) to register their children in the Hajj portion. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of campaigns on parents' motivation and interest and to understand the relationship between campaigns, motivations, and interests in registration decisions. This study uses a quantitative survey method, with data collected from parents in the Greater Jakarta area.
The results of the study show that the ""Ayo Haji Muda"" campaign has a significant influence on parents' interest in registering their children's hajj portions. This campaign also increases motivation by providing information about the benefits of hajj at a young age. Factors that affect parents' motivation include religious beliefs, the desire to provide a good spiritual experience for children, and the drive to ensure that children get benefit from the opportunity to perform the hajj.
The study also draws on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory, where parents' motivation to enroll their children is driven by high-level needs, such as self-actualization and the need for spiritual meaning. The ""Ayo Haji Muda"" campaign is able to facilitate the achievement of this need by providing opportunities for parents to fulfill their religious obligations and provide spiritual heritage for their children. These results show that an effective religious campaign can meet the basic and existential needs of the audience.
