Campaign Plan "SustainaVegan Fest: Savor the Planet, One Plant-Based Bite at a Time" to Raise Awareness of Vegan Lifestyle Impacts Towards Climate Change

The popularity of vegetarianism, especially veganism, has surged in recent years due to support from influential figures and increasing public awareness of sustainable eating habits. This shift reflects a broader societal trend toward more environmentally conscious choices, recognizing the significant impact of dietary habits on climate change. Veganism, in particular, can be adopted for environmental sustainability, health benefits, or ethical considerations. This study aims to raise awareness about the connection between greenhouse gas emissions and climate change, highlighting the potential reductions achievable through a vegan lifestyle. It also explores public perceptions regarding the environmental impact of animal agriculture and the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle. The findings suggest that adopting a vegan lifestyle can substantially reduce greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to both improved public health and environmental sustainability. A plant-based diet requires fewer natural resources and produces significantly lower emissions compared to meat-heavy diets, emphasising veganism's role in mitigating climate change.
