<note>Health communication is a challenge for many parties because health as the foundation for the success of other fields is an issue that will always be a concern and is continuously being developed. This study analyzed the health communication carried out by the Japanese multinational company engaged in the health sector, Otsuka. Considering health communication carried out by multinational companies has a greater impact on society and community, the author found it worth to analyze as it will provide an example for the implementation of better health communication in the future. Through Pocari Sweat Run, a nationwide running event held by the company every year, Otsuka educates the public and communities about the importance of maintaining good physical condition while exercising. Through qualitative research method and analysis based on the concept of Health Belief Model, this study is expected to inspire stakeholders and professionals involved in the development of the health sector, particularly those parties with the opportunity to deliver effective health communication in order to increase public awareness regarding the importance of maintaining healthy physical condition during exercise.
