Studies on short film as a literacy media for introducing certain mental conditions or personality traits has been conducted through several ways and perspectives. Our thesis was done by the thought and researched data that a personality trait called HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) was less known and introduced to the audience, specifically in Indonesia. Therefore, we created a short film project as a literacy media to introduce this type of personality trait, with the hope that this film might be distributed through a large scope of existing medias. We implemented Cinema Hollywood Concept as a base structure for it’s story line and Realism as it’s film style. After we implemented the concept and edited the material into an intact product, we distributed the product to certain number of audiences and gave them questionnaire to fill. From the data we received by the questionnaire, we found that short film is proven to be an effective communication media to introduce HSP to the audience.
