 <note>COVID-19 has become a pandemic in Indonesia. One of the sectorsthat have been affected by this pandemic is the education sector. Based onthis condition, the Indonesian government has made some national policies.One of them is implementing the learning activities that have been transformedinto a distance learning or online learning process by relying on technology asa learning medium. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to know theimplementation of technology in distance learning during the COVID-19pandemic; to know how well-prepared teachers, especially senior teachers,are in using the new advanced technology in the learning process; to see whatare the challenges faced by the senior teacher, and to see how the seniorteachers overcome the challenges. This research uses qualitative descriptiveresearch with the data collection techniques through interviews with severalsenior teachers from Saint Mary School. The result of this research indicatesthat the use of Google Classroom is beneficial and adaptable by teachers withits features in the distance learning process during the current Covid-19pandemic, yet, some obstacles occur like the unstable connection, thelimitation in interacting directly with students, and limitation in using technologydue to ages.&#13;
