<note>The COVID-19 pandemic has caused not only a significant impact on the economy, but has also resulted in the loss of creative places for artists to display their art forms, especially for performing artists as they require stage, audiences, etc. This situation encouraged Indonesia Kaya to keep the ecosystem of Indonesia performing arts industry alive during this hard situation. The researcher focuses on analysing one of the virtual events held by Indonesia Kaya. Which is to understand the implementation of their virtual event as a communication strategy to support artists. This research uses an in-depth interview with four different informants as a way of collecting data. The researcher is using Qualitative as the research method, with Event Management as its main theory, supported by the objectives of Communication Strategy. This research revealed whether Indonesia Kaya succeeded in supporting the artists through #MusikalDiRumahAja event. The results of this research found that the five stages of event management by Joe Goldblatt are applicable to study the implementation of Indonesia Kaya virtual event as an effective communication strategy.
