<note>"This research explores the intersectionality of feminism and singleness, delving into the experiences of professional single women in Jakarta, Indonesia. Against a dynamic social landscape and evolving gender dynamics, the study addresses a critical gap in understanding the challenges these women face in navigating gender, professional aspirations, and societal expectations. Ranked 101 out of 156 countries in the Global Gender Gap Index 2021, Indonesia reveals significant gender disparities. Despite existing research on women's experiences, a specific focus on professional single women in Jakarta is lacking, exposing gender disparities and potential challenges in male-dominated industries. As Jakarta undergoes shifts in gender dynamics, more women pursue professional careers. However, the experiences of professional single women within this intersectional space have been overlooked, subjecting them to societal pressures and discrimination. This study aims to fill this research gap by aligning with the women's liberation movement, connecting personal experiences to professional life, challenging societal norms, and advocating for gender equality. Seeking a comprehensive understanding of professional single women's experiences in Jakarta, the research explores their challenges, empowerment strategies, and the interplay between professionalism, singleness, and societal expectations."
